CBRE negotiated the $27.3M sale of Dobson Towne Centre, a 240-unit luxury apartment community at 1817 N. Dobson Rd. in Chandler.
Vice Chairmen Tyler Anderson and Sean Cunningham, and Senior Associate Asher Gunter of CBRE’s Phoenix office represented the seller, a global investment management firm, in structuring the sale.
The buyer was Weidner Investment Services of Kirkland, Wash. Weidner has been the most active buyer of multi-family assets in Arizona, acquiring 27 properties totaling 7,976 units since March of 2010.
Dobson Towne Centre has gated access and features two swimming pools and spas with outdoor Wi-Fi service, a designer clubhouse with culinary station, a 24-hour fitness facility and a business center. Individual units have nine-foot ceilings and come with full-size washers and dryers, fully-appointed kitchens, built-in computer desks and walk-in closets.
Built in 2001, Dobson Towne Centre was 93% occupied at the time of sale.
